The adventure starts from Kathmandu with the domestic flight to Lukla. Leaving the precarious airstrip at Lukla. We climb the Dudh Koshi Gorge, pass huge caves with Buddhist prayers to Namche Bazaar, the largest Khumbu Village with its own distinctive style. This important market village is a traditional meeting place for low-landers and Sherpa. Here we acclimatize among the Sherpa sharing their way of life. Meantime, preparing for our final push to Pheriche Village, scramble up Tengboche Hill that leads to Kala Patthar, viewing Khumbu glacier, Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. The Everest base camp is not far off from Gorakshep, can be reached within 3-4 hours trek. The view is rewarding after so many days on trek. This lifetime experience will remain steadfast with you for the rest of your life.
