Itinerary

Day 1:

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be meet and transferred to Gangtok(5800 ft. ) which is at a distance of 120 kms which will be covered by road journey in around 4 hours. Over night halt in Gangtok.

Day 2:

Gangtok Cherry City Tour includes Enchey Monastery and the world famous Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre and the Cottage Industries. Over Night halt.

Day 3:

Departure for North Sikkim via Phodong Monastery and enroute also visit Kabi Longstok and other small Sikkimese villages. Reach Lachung after 6 hrs drive. Over Night halt in Lachung.

Day 4:

Visit the famous Yumthang Valley after breakfast. On the way we pass via Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary which encounters numerous water falls, streams, hot
		springs and natures vistas. Return to Lachung in the evening - Walk around the village, meet the local people and also visit Lachung Monastery.

Day 5:

Depart for Lachen (New Destination-opened in Dec-2000), most remote village of North Sikkim. Over Night halt. Only basic facilities are available here. There is no Electricity or attached baths or proper roads but the natures vistas compensates all those facilities.

Day 6:

Early morning drive to Thangu and Chopta Valley at 14000 ft and witness the beauty of the Himalayas. Return to Lachen in the evening fall. Over Night halt.

Day 7:

Head back to Gangtok and halt overnight.

Day 8:

Gangtok to Bagdogra/Pemayangste /Kalimpong or continue as planned.

Back
